Embark on the sacred Kathmandu and Muktinath Yatra, an 11-day escorted pilgrimage through the Himalayan kingdom of Nepal, taking you to some of the most revered Hindu and Buddhist shrines in the region. Begin in the spiritual heart of Kathmandu with darshan at the Pashupatinath Temple, the Jal Narayan reclining Vishnu shrine, and the iconic stupas of Boudhnath and Swayambhunath, before journeying via Manokamna Devi Temple to the lakeside town of Pokhara. The spiritual highlight is the darshan at the holy Muktinath Temple at 3,710 metres in Mustang — sacred to Lord Vishnu as the giver of moksha — followed by exploration of the medieval Newar cities of Bhaktapur and Patan. After exploring Bhaktapur, continue to Patan (1,338m, 10 km, 30 minutes' drive), home to magnificent temples and the exquisite Newar architecture. Return to Kathmandu. Overnight stay.
